Silver Birch In Gale

I must confess I do love experimenting with long exposures. Never really tried it until investing in a decent camera and tripod a couple of years ago.

What I enjoyed about shooting this Silver Birch in my back garden was how it revealed the range of movement the tree can manage and still remain upright.

There are some taller ones in neighbouring gardens in which many Rooks nest each year. Quite how their nests stay in place, in such weather, is testament to their building skills.
